Since 2002 RNM Engineering has provided professional electrical engineering services to the architectural, lighting design and construction industries. Based on Richard Miller's 30 years of professional engineering experience, the focus of RNM Engineering is to provide sustainable solutions from the utility pole to the outlet. Services include power systems design, electrical design services, alternative energy design, and project oversight from concept through construction and commissioning.
Chris Stephens Graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering in 2008. Since graduating Chris has worked as a designer, engineer, and field engineer in the electrical construction industry on a wide variety of projects including renewable energy, lighting, and power systems design. Mr. Stephens also holds a C-10 Electrical Contractor’s license.
With more than 30 years of architectural/electrical engineering project experience, Mr. Miller has provided lighting and electrical engineering services for commercial, industrial, and governmental facilities having designed power, lighting, control and fire alarm and security systems. He founded RNM Engineering in 2002 after an engineering and management career at several major US architectural engineering firms including HOK and Teng & Associates.
Mr. Miller has a keen interest in lighting design and control. He teaches seminars on these and other electrical engineering topics at the PG&E Energy Center in San Francisco, Southern Cal Edison, San Diego Gas and Electric and other organizations.
